 Funeral Directors W.E. Pinder & Son have been a respected name in the Bawtry area for almost 100 years.
During the late 1800s, William Ernest Pinder worked for a joinery
and undertaking business at
50, High Street, Bawtry. The name above the door at that time was John Howard.
In 1914 William E. Pinder purchased the business for himself, and the name was changed to
W.E. Pinder & Son, the son being John Robert Pinder. Passed again from Robert Pinder,
the businesss has now been handed down through four successive generations
and today is run by John Pinder.
The Pinder name has been built on family values of care, courtesy and respect for tradition.
Today, W.E. Pinder & Son still strive to maintain these same high standards.
